Observers from the European Parliament - former EP President Pat Cox and former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski arrived at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Thursday morning.
When entering the parliament they told journalists that they were going to see the preparations of the bill on medical treatment of prisoners abroad, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada is to consider on Thursday three European integration bills - the bill on public prosecutor's office, the bill on parliamentary elections and the bill on the treatment of prisoners abroad.
All these bills need to be passed in order to get the green light from the European Union for the signing of the association agreement between Ukraine and the EU at a summit in Vilnius on November 28-29.
