Antonov showcases new An-158 regional aircraft at air show in Dubai
The Antonov State Enterprise (Kyiv), a leading Ukrainian aircraft developer and manufacturer, is presenting its new-generation An-158 regional passenger aircraft at the Dubai 2013 international air show, which is taking place in Dubai (the United Arab Emirates) on November 17-21, the company's press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.
The new Ukrainian plane will participate in the program of demonstration flights at the exhibition.
"During the exhibition, it is planned to hold a number of meetings and negotiations with representatives of airlines and leasing companies," the company's press service reported.
"Antonov aircraft are to be presented to the senior management of the Air Force and Civil Aviation of the UAE and other countries."
The An-158 is a regional jet aircraft that can carry up to 99 passengers. The aircraft's range is 2,500 kilometers. The aircraft is in mass production in Kyiv.
