Foreign Ministry confirms death of Ukrainian woman in Kazan plane crash
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has confirmed that there was a Ukrainian woman on board of the Boeing 737 of Tatarstan Airlines that crashed in Kazan on Sunday.
"We confirm that there was a Ukrainian woman," the ministry's spokesman, Yevhen Perebyinis, told Interfax-Ukraine.
He added that the consul of Ukraine had already left for the site to learn details and circumstances of the crash.
Fifty people - 44 passengers and six crew members - were killed when a Boeing-737 airliner flying from Moscow to Kazan crashed at the airport of destination on Sunday.
