Cox, Kwasniewski arrive at Kharkov hospital to meet with Tymoshenko
Observers from the European Parliament - former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski and former European Parliament President Pat Cox have arrived at Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 in Kharkiv, where former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is undergoing treatment.
A minibus carrying Cox and Kwasniewski, accompanied by two traffic police cars entered the territory of the hospital at 1410, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
Tymoshenko's supporters outside the hospital met the cars with cries "Free Yulia!"
Earlier on Friday, Cox and Kwasniewski held consultations with the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada and the heads of parliamentary factions.
"Everything is complicated," Kwasniewski told journalists when asked how the talks with Ukrainian Speaker Volodymyr Rybak and faction leaders were going.
Asked if they will continue the negotiations, he replied "Yes, we will.
