Lithuanian foreign minister anticipating Yanukovych's decision on Tymoshenko's treatment abroad
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius, who is currently presiding for the Council of the European Union, has expressed his support for the proposal made by the European Parliament's observation mission headed by former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski and former European Parliament President Pat Cox to take former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko abroad for treatment in Germany.
"I support the Cox-Kwasniewski mission and I hope that the president will make a decision," he said in a phone conversation with an Interfax-Ukraine reporter on Friday.
"Time for compromises and solutions," he wrote on his page on Twitter.
