Azarov: Medicine prices won't rise in fall-winter season
The prices of anti-viral medicines will not rise in autumn and winter, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.
"There will be no sharp jumps in medicine prices. We have sufficient stocks for autumn and winter, as supplies are carried out according to agreements. I don't think there will be any anomalies during this season," he wrote on his page on Facebook on Friday.
Azarov added that the government is monitoring the situation. In addition, an experiment with benchmark prices for hypertonic medicines has been implemented in Ukraine for more than a year, while the Health Ministry is increasing the list of medicines to which the same approach will be applied.
