Poland donates nearly 30,000 packages of antibiotics for Ukrainian children
The Agency for Strategic Reserves (RARS) of the Polish government organized the transportation of children's medicines donated by Tarchomin Pharmaceutical Plants Polfa S.A. to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine under the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM).
"Ukrainian children's hospitals received 29,835 packages of Polcylin 60 ml and Polcylin 125 ml, which will be used in the regions hardest hit by the war. This assistance was provided in coordination with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine," RARS said in a social media post on Monday.
The event was attended by representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, pharmaceutical plants Polfa S.A. and representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"This gesture of solidarity is not only humanitarian but also symbolic – it shows that, despite the difficulties, Poland supports Ukraine, caring for the health and lives of the civilian population, especially the youngest," the message says.
