Yanukovych congratulates swimmer Zevina on gold medal and European record
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has congratulated swimmer Daria Zevina on winning a gold medal and setting a European record at the World Swimming Cup in Berlin.
"Your victory became an important contribution to the fund of Ukrainian sports achievements in the international arena. Ukrainian fans are proud of this success, which clearly shows the high level of your preparation and mastery of the backstroke," reads a posting made on the president's official Web site on Monday.
