People injured in accident in Horlivka in stable condition, authorities say
Doctors made favorable forecasts for all the workers who were injured in an accident at plant No. 1 of PJSC Stirol Concern as of 1100 on Friday, the healthcare department at Donetsk Regional State Administration has reported.
All of the patients are receiving the necessary treatment and were provided with all of the necessary medicines, reads the report.
As reported, there was an ammonia pipeline blowout during overhauls at plant No. 1 of PJSC Stirol Concern on August 6. Five people were killed and around 26 people were injured in the accident.
Stirol is one of Ukraine's biggest chemical producers. Ostchem is a managing company that coordinates the strategy of six fertilizer companies belonging to Group DF of Dmytro Firtash, four of which are located in Ukraine: Stirol Concern, Severodonetsk Azot, Cherkasy Azot and Rivneazot.
