Group DF denies fire at Stirol facility in Horlivka

Group DF has said that grass is burning outside the Stirol facility in Horlivka, Donetsk region, but there is no fire inside the building proper.

"There is no fire at Stirol, grass is burning at a nearby territory - on a country land plot," a Group DF spokesperson told Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.

Group DF removed all hazardous chemical substances from the plant well beforehand.

The Horlivka City Council said earlier that a fire broke out in the machinery room at the Stirol chemical plant as a result of rocket fire and that the fire has now been put out.
