Eighteen people hospitalized after minibuses collide in Ternopil region
Eighteen people with injuries of varying severity were hospitalized after two shuttle buses collided near the village of Kruholets, Shumsk district, Ternopil region.
The police were notified about the accident at 0820, the press service of the prosecutor's office in Ternopil region reported on Thursday.
According to preliminary data, a total of 40 passengers, including two children, aged 9 and 6, were in the two buses.
The law enforcement authorities are currently examining the scene, establishing the causes and circumstances of the accident. The regional prosecutor's office supervises the inquiry.
