In Romania, bus with 60 Ukrainians gets into accident, one person dies, five more injured – media
On Monday, in the village of Nicolae Bălcescu (Bacău County, Romania), a bus carrying 60 Ukrainian citizens, including 21 children, collided with a minibus carrying five people, resulting in one death and several serious injuries, Digi24 reports.
"As a result of the road accident, five people aged between 27 and 65 were injured - four of them were in the minibus, one in the bus, and a 29-year-old woman from the village of Agas, who was in the minibus, died," Bacau police officials said.
The bus, carrying Ukrainian citizens, was traveling from Bacau to Adjud when it collided with a minibus that was parked on the side of the road.
The bus was reportedly driven by a 40-year-old man, a foreign national, who was tested with a breathalyzer and the result was negative.
