Ukrainian opposition insists on Tymoshenko's treatment abroad
The parliamentary opposition demands Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych's answer to the question when former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko will be released from prison.
"We want Viktor Yanukovych to say when three criteria will be met for signing the agreement with the EU and how Yulia Tymoshenko will be released," Batkivschyna faction leader Arseniy Yatseniuk said at the morning plenary session of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday.
"Yulia Tymoshenko's health condition is critical," and she needs to receive therapy abroad, he stressed.
The opposition will file appeals everywhere, including at international entities, to enable Yulia Tymoshenko to receive therapy abroad, Yatseniuk said.
