Kyrgyzstan to get observer status with Eurasian Economic Commission - Shuvalov
Kyrgyzstan that has expressed its willingness to join the Customs Union will get the status of observer with the Eurasian Economic Commission and other formats of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space along with Ukraine, Vice Premier Igor Shuvalov has said.
"We heard today that Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Customs Union is most likely to take place at the time of the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union, i.e. starting with January 1, 2015, and before that Kyrgyzstan will have observer status with the Eurasian Economic Commission and other formats of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space," he said to reporters after a session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Astana.
