Memorandum on Ukraine's observer status in Customs Union to be signed at CIS meeting in Minsk
In the nearest future Ukraine will get observer status at the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.
"The memorandum on Ukraine's involvement [as observer] in the Customs Union will be signed in the next few days at the meeting of CIS heads of governments in Minsk," Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said at a joint press conference with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Astana on Wednesday.
He said the presidents of Customs Union countries and Ukraine gave corresponding instructions to their prime ministers.
