Energy minister earns less in 2012 than all of his deputies
Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky earned UAH 123,070 in 2012, whereas the income of his family amounted to UAH 2.553 million, according to his income declaration published in the government's Uriadovy Kurier newspaper.
According to the document, Stavytsky's family owns and rents land plots with an area of 11,120 square meters, a 212.9-square-meter apartment, and non-residential premises with an area of 319.2 square meters. The minister has UAH 155,771 on bank accounts, whereas his family has UAH 85,397.
First Deputy Energy and Coal Industry Minister Ihor Popovych, in turn, earned UAH 257,987 in 2012, and his family's income was UAH 494,808.
Deputy Energy and Coal Industry Minister Serhiy Chekh last year earned UAH 178,229, and his family received UAH 39,022 in income.
Deputy Energy and Coal Industry Minister Volodymyr Makukha earned UAH 207,096 in 2012, whereas his family's income amounted to UAH 371,690.
