Ukraine to accumulate at least 13.2 bcm of gas by start of heating season – Hrynchuk
Ukraine must accumulate at least 13.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas by the start of the heating season, of which 4.6 billion cubic meters are imports, Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk said.
"The goal by the start of the heating season is to pump at least 13.2 billion cubic meters, of which 4.6 are imports. And it is important to say that this task has the full support of international partners," she said during the presentation of the Government's Action Program in Kyiv on Monday, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reports from the scene.
"Gas pumping is going according to plan, sometimes even ahead of schedule. I think that we will have sufficient reserves of both gas and coal to pass the autumn-winter season," the Minister of Energy noted.
