Three killed, over 140 injured in Boston Marathon blasts
Three people were killed, including an eight-year-old child, when two bombs went off near the finish line of a marathon in Boston on Monday.
At least 141 people were injured, with 17 of them in critical condition, CNN reported.
The police said that shortly after the blasts a fire broke out at the John F. Kennedy Library some three kilometers away from the finish line.
U.S. President Barack Obama ordered the mayor of Boston to provide all the necessary aid.
