Tymoshenko should be released from prison - opposition

Arseniy Yatseniuk, leader of the faction Batkivschyna in the Ukrainian parliament, said Ukraine's former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko should be released from prison now that former Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko has been released.

"We will fight for Yulia Tymoshenko's release because Yulia Tymoshenko should be released now that Yuriy Lutsenko has been released," the opposition leader told a rally held in Kyiv on Sunday.

According to observers, the protest had at least 5,000-6,000 participants.
