Higher court continues consideration of Lutsenko's appeal without ex-minister and some of his defenders
The chamber of the Higher Specialized Court of Ukraine on Civil and Criminal Cases on Friday continued the consideration of an appeal on the second conviction of former Ukrainian Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko regarding the poisoning of third Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko (2005-2010).
According to an agency correspondent, Lutsenko is absent at the meeting as he previously asked. The spouse of the former minister and his defender Iryna Lutsenko, as well as two his lawyers are also absent. The court decided to continue considering the case in the absence of Lutsenko and some of his defenders.
