Yanukovych expects cabinet to report on preparations for the 2013 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych expects the Cabinet of Ministers to report soon on progress in preparations for the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship in Ukraine in 2013.

"All those involved in holding the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, which will take place this year, and you, [Prime Minister] Mykola Yanovych [Azarov], I would ask to report soon on what problems we have and what needs to be done so that we can hold this world championship successfully," Yanukovych said at a meeting of a coordinating committee for the preparations for the European Basketball Championship 2015.

In July 2011, the International Federation of Gymnastics and the Gymnastics Federation of Ukraine signed an agreement on holding the 32nd World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship in 2013 in Ukraine.

The championship will take place in the Sports Palace in Kyiv on September 14-24, 2013.
