Tymoshenko is in serious condition, says MP Kuzhel
Ukraine's former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko is in serious condition, according to MP Oleksandra Kuzhel.
"Yulia Volodymyrivna [Tymoshenko] is in a very serious condition. She cannot stand on her right foot. She suffers incredible pain. The only thing that is done is that she is given painkillers twice a day. Now I understand the [information] blockade, which was done so that no one should know what's happening with her," Kuzhel told journalists outside Central Clinical No. 5 on Friday morning.
Kuzhel said there are currently some fifty police officers on the stairs leading to the ninth floor, where Tymoshenko's ward is located.
The lawmaker also said she and her colleagues Liudmila Denisova and Tetiana Sliuz had found surveillance cameras, including in the shower and toilet.
While talking to the press, Kuzhel experienced heart pains and Sliuz did not leave the territory of the hospital because she is receiving medical assistance.
