French actor Gerard Depardieu, who was granted Russian citizenship by President Vladimir Putin, has arrived in Kyiv.
He is expected to attend the French Phoenix circus show and a private party.
The actor has recently visited a winery in Kherson region.
Depardieu had recently announced he would give up his French passport after the government had decided to impose 75% super-tax on annual earnings above one million euros.
Putin signed the decree granting Russian citizenship to Depardieu on January 3.
