President changes status of minister of Cabinet of Ministers
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has updated regulation on the minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
It was stipulated in a December 24 decree No. № 752/2012.
According to the statement, now the minister of the Cabinet of Ministers just governs the secretariat of the government, while previously he led it.
Now the minister is deprived of the function to ensure organizational work of prime minister, first deputy premier and deputy premiers. The statement that the minister could have first deputy and deputies was also excluded.
Moreover, now the minister of the Cabinet of Ministers is not any more equal to deputy premier according to conditions of payment for labor, social-domestic, medical, transport and other maintenance.
As reported, on Monday, Viktor Yanukovych signed a decree appointing Olena Lukash as minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
