Kiselev may quit Big Politics TV program, say media
Inter television channel might not prolong the contract with Russian presenter of the Big Politics program, Evgeny Kiselev, by initiative of the channel's owner Valeriy Khoroshkovsky.
Informed sources told the Segodnya newspaper that Kiselev has allegedly received an ultimatum proposal to quit the channel voluntarily, as the channel has found a new presenter to replace him.
Inter's press service neither confirmed nor rejected the information on Kiselev's dismissal. The presenter, in turn, said that he was not ready to comment on the situation.
"For God's sake, excuse me, I don't want to speak about this now," he said.
Evgeny Kiselev, who is a well-know Russian journalist and TV presenter, has been working for Inter for several years. For the last three years Kiselev has been working on the Big Politics weekly talk show.
