Regions Party faction consulting with other parties on electing Azarov as PM

The Regions Party parliamentary faction will support the candidacy of Mykola Azarov for the position of the Ukrainian prime minister, and is holding consultations on the issue with other parties.

"Our faction will vote for Azarov as premier," Head of the Regions Party faction in the parliament of the sixth convocation Oleksandr Yefremov said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Monday.

He added that the Regions Party members are working on the issue with other parties.

As reported, on December 9, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych submitted Mykola Azarov's candidacy for the premiership.
