Opposition's Razvozzhayev charged with assault dating back 15 years
An assault charge has been brought against opposition member Leonid Razvozzhayev accused of preparing massive riots in Russia, Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin told Interfax.
He said the incident happened in Angarsk 15 years ago.
According to detectives, "Razvozzhayev and his accomplices armed with a hunting gun and two pistols broke into the house of a businessman and demanded his property at gunpoint on December 4, 1997," Markin said.
