Shakhtar to play Karpaty in Ukrainian Cup quarterfinals

Shakhtar Donetsk will play Karpaty Lviv in the quarterfinals of the Ukrainian Cup, according to the draw made at the House of Football in Kyiv on Thursday.

Shakhtar won through to the quarterfinals after beating Hoverla 4-1 in Uzhgorod. Karpaty, in turn, beat Metalist Kharkiv 2-1 at home 2-1.

In other quarterfinals, Volyn will take on Dnipro, Arsenal Kyiv will face Chornomorets, and Sevastopol will play Tavria.

The Ukrainian Cup quarterfinals will be played on April 17, 2013.
