Tymoshenko asking to clarify where she will vote, says defense lawyer
Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko wants to know where she will vote at the parliamentary elections on Sunday, October 28, the ex-premier's defense lawyer Oleksandr Plakhotniuk has said.
"Today Yulia Volodymyrivna has submitted a request to ensure that her right to vote at the elections is satisfied. So far it is not clear, at least she does not understand, where she is to vote. She has not received any messages or invitations," Plakhotniuk said outside Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 in Kharkiv, where Tymoshenko is undergoing treatment, on Tuesday.
The lawyer also said that on Tuesday Tymoshenko passed him an open statement containing her assessment of the current election campaign. The statement will be published on Wednesday morning.
