PACE Election Observation Mission to work in Ukraine on October 26-29
The election observation mission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will work at the parliamentary elections in Ukraine on October 26-29.
The mission headed by Chair of the Socialist Group Andreas Gross (Switzerland) includes 41 PACE deputies, the press service of PACE told Interfax-Ukraine on Friday.
The mission will meet with representatives of political parties and blocs running for the parliament, the head of the Central Election Commission, representatives from civil society, journalists and representatives of the international community, before departing for the Ukrainian regions to observe the election process on October 28.
