Russian night attack causes power outages in five regions – Energy ministry
Russia overnight continued to attack energy infrastructure, as a result of which, as of the morning of December 24, there are new power outages in Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions.
"Repair teams of regional energy companies are working to restore damaged equipment to service as soon as possible," the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine said on Wednesday.
Hourly outage schedules and capacity limitation schedules for industrial consumers and businesses on December 24 apply from 00:00 to 23:59 in all regions of Ukraine.
Current schedules are posted on the official resources of regional distribution system operators.
