Stefanchuk calls for clear parliament procedures on international obligations
The Verkhovna Rada needs a clear procedure for fulfilling obligations to international institutions, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk has said.
"We understand that without constant, logical, understandable funding, we cannot implement them. Therefore, the issue of the Ukraine Facility, the issue of the IMF, the issue of the World Bank, the issue of our other agreements with partners - this is what the Ukrainian Parliament is ready to fulfill. But... we want a clear, understandable and transparent procedure for assuming obligations, so that we do not find out about it a few minutes before it enters the parliament," Stefanchuk said at the presentation of the government program on Monday.
