Zelenskyy announces talks with partners on financing drones

This week, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will discuss with partners the task of closing the deficit in financing the production of drones.

Zelenskyy noted that during the night, the air defense forces shot down several hundred Russian strike drones and several missiles, but there were also hits.

"But we are constantly strengthening the Ukrainian air shield, and it is very important to maintain a full understanding among partners of what exactly they can help with. Step by step, we are closing the financing deficit for the production of drones, and this week there will be new conversations with partners on this task. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council are carrying out relevant instructions at their level," Zelenskyy wrote on the Telegram channel on Monday.

According to him, restoration and rescue work is currently underway, in particular, this concerns the power supply.

"The necessary assistance is being provided to the injured: as of now, eight injured people are known," the president said.
