Sybiha condemns Hungary's refusal to allow three Ukrainian military personnel into its territory
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha condemned Hungary's decision to deny access to three Ukrainian servicemen. Sybiha published a statement on the matter on the X platform on Thursday.
“Hungary’s decision to ban three Ukrainian military officials from entering its territory is unfounded and absurd. We reject Hungary's manipulations and we will not tolerate such disrespect for our military. Ukraine reserves the right to take appropriate action in response,” Sybiha said on X.
The Hungarian government has reportedly banned entry to three high-ranking Ukrainian military personnel, whom, Budapest says, are responsible for a forced mobilization that Hungarian officials believe led to the death of a mobilized Hungarian who is a Ukrainian citizen and, according to Budapest, a Hungarian citizen. Hungary is demanding that these officials be included in the EU sanction list.
