Defense Forces neutralized 40 out of 52 strike drones, with which the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine at night, the Air Force of the Armed Forces reports.

"As of 08:00, air defense neutralized 40 enemy Shahed-type UAVs [drones of other types] in the east and south of the country. Some 22 were shot down by fire weapons, and 18 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare," the telegram said.

It is reported that on the night of July 3 [from 21:30 on July 2], the enemy attacked with 52 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia.

Enemy attack UAVs hit seven locations, as well as downed ones fell at one location.
