Sybiha on use of frozen Russian assets, not just profits: We are continuing to work on this
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha has called on partners to move from using interest on frozen Russian assets to using the assets themselves.
At a joint press conference with his German counterpart Johann Wadeful in Kyiv, Sybiha stressed that it is time to move from using interest on frozen Russian assets to using the assets themselves directly for the needs of Ukrainian defense and reconstruction.
"We continue to work. Legal teams are also working in some countries where the largest number of frozen Russian assets are concentrated, looking for the right formulas to implement this decision. Regarding the use of Russian assets for the needs of Ukrainian defense and reconstruction," Sybiha said.
