Ukrainian air defense neutralized 78 out of 97 enemy Shaheds that attacked Ukraine, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

"As of 08:00, air defense neutralized 78 enemy Shahed UAVs [drones of other types] in the east, south and north of the country. Some 63 - shot down by fire weapons, and 15 - lost/suppressed by electronic warfare," the message said.

It is noted that on the night of June 24 (from 22:00 on June 23), the enemy attacked with 97 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Orel, Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, and Chauda – the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

At the same time, enemy UAVs hit six locations.
