The Verkhovna Rada has passed legislation reforming the National Agency for tracing and Asset Management of Ukraine (ARMA), Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zhelezniak (Holos faction) reported.
"Draft Law No. 12374-d – ARMA Reform has been adopted in its entirety," Zhelezniak wrote on Telegram.
According to the MP, 253 lawmakers voted in favor of the law on amending certain acts to strengthen the institutional capacity of ARMA and improve asset management mechanisms, during a plenary session of the Rada on Wednesday.
The new legislation establishes a selection procedure for the ARMA head involving international experts, introduces a transparent mechanism for ARMA governance, and enhances oversight over asset transfers.
Zhelezniak noted that the law is part of Ukraine's European integration commitments and that its adoption will result in the unblocking of EUR 600 million in EU funding.
