In Zaporizhia, 23 people injured in enemy bombing attack, incl four children –Emergency Service
As a result of the bombing of Zaporizhia by Russian occupation forces, one person was killed and 23 people were injured, including four children, the State Emergency Service reported.
"According to updated data, 23 people, including four children, were injured as a result of Russian air strikes by smart bombs in Zaporizhia. One person died," the department said on Telegram.
Head of Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, later expanded the information about the injured children.
"Four children were injured in the Russian strike on Zaporizhia. Boys aged 16, 14, 4 and 3 are now in hospital. Doctors assess their condition as moderate. The children are receiving all necessary assistance," he wrote on Telegram.
According to authorities, an emergency rescue operation is underway at the site of the hit.
Earlier, it was reported that one person was killed and 22 more people were injured, including three children.
