URCS helps residents of Zaporizhia after Russian drone attack
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) has helped victims at locations damaged by Russian drone strikes in Zaporizhia at night.
"The URCS rapid response unit in Zaporizhia region, together with all operational services, worked at the site of another attack on Zaporizhia. Volunteers provided assistance at all hit sites," the URCS reported on Facebook.
Four people received first aid, and volunteers provided psychological support to 14 victims and their loved ones.
As reported, on Friday night, Zaporizhia was under attack by Russian UAVs.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, last night, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhia twice with strike UAVs. As a result of the first wave of the attack, three fires broke out: a non-residential extension to a multi-storey building and two outbuildings caught fire. The debris damaged residential buildings, road surfaces, and cars. The second impact damaged a shopping center.
