Sybiha pays tribute to victims of 1994 genocide against Tutsi in Rwanda
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha honored the memory of the victims of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
“Today, Ukraine joins the world in commemorating the victims of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, alongside African Union and Mahmoud Ali youssouf We stand in solidarity and honor the memory of those who perished. As a nation that survived a genocide through hunger last century and is currently defending itself against a genocidal war, we deeply share the grief of the Rwandan people,” he said on X.
Sybiha stressed that such terrible crimes must never happen again.
