Forty-one out of 74 enemy UAVs shot down at night, 20 drone simulators lost from location
Russian occupiers attacked the territory of Ukraine on the night of Wednesday with 74 drones, 41 of them were shot down, 20 drone imitators were lost without negative consequences, the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
"As of 09:00, the downing of 41 Shahed-type attack UAVs (drones of other types) in the north, south and east of the country has been confirmed," the report says.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Kharkiv, Donetsk and Odesa regions suffered as a result of the Russian attack.
As reported, on Monday night the occupiers attacked Ukraine with 131 drones, 57 were shot down, 45 were lost. At about 21:00 on Monday evening, the enemy launched a strike with two X-59/69 guided air missiles from tactical aircraft in Zaporizhia direction. Both missiles were shot down by air defense.
