General Staff reports increase in Russian airstrikes on Ukraine on Tuesday
Over the past 24 hours, Russian occupiers carried out 116 airstrikes in Ukraine, dropping 184 guided bombs, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook on Wednesday morning.
This is more than any day in the past week, when the number of airstrikes per day remained between 74 and 94, with between 81 and 151 bombs dropped daily.
However, the enemy carried out 5,500 artillery attacks in 24 hours, while since Wednesday there have been at least 6,000.
Also, over the past 24 hours, the Russian occupiers have not launched missile strikes on Ukraine - the last time they were recorded was on Friday last week.
