Thirty enemy missiles, 47 out of 117 drones shot down at night, 27 lost from location
On Wednesday night, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 43 missiles and 74 Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles and simulator drones of various types, 30 missiles and 47 drones were shot down, and 27 drones were lost from location and did not reach their targets, according to the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The radio engineering troops of the Ukrainian Air Force detected and carried out 117 enemy air targets: one Iskander-M/KN ballistic missile; seven X-22/32 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 aircraft; four Kalibr cruise missiles; 27 X-101/X-55SM cruise missiles from Tu-95MC strategic bombers; four X-59/X-69 guided aviation missiles from tactical aircraft; 74 Shahed attack UAVs/simulator drones of various types," the report says.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems and mobile firing groups were involved in repelling the enemy's air attack.
"As of 10:30, it was confirmed that 77 air targets were shot down: 23 X-101 and X-55CM cruise missiles; three Kalibr cruise missiles; four X-59/X-69 guided aircraft missiles; 47 Shahed attack UAVs/simulator drones of various types, 27 more have not reached targets (lost locationally)," the Air Force said.
It is reported that the enemy attacked Ukrainian energy facilities, in particular, gas infrastructure in Kharkiv, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. As a result of the Russian attack, there is damage to the facilities. At the same time, it is emphasized that not all missiles that were not included in the statistics reached their targets.
