Fifty-eight enemy drones out of 80 shot down at night, 21 locationally lost – Air Force

On Monday night, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 80 Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles and various types of simulator drones, 58 of them were shot down, and 21 enemy simulator drones were lost without negative consequences, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on the Telegram channel.

"Downed enemy drones caused damage in Sumy, Kvi, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv and Cherkasy regions. Private and apartment buildings, cars, and citizens' property were damaged. According to preliminary estimates, without casualties, the victims are being assisted," the report says.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine. "As of 09:00, it was confirmed that 58 Shahed-type attack UAVs and other types of drones had been shot down in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Kherson regions," the Air Force said.
