Zelenskyy on Musk's intentions to support forces critical of Ukraine: We based on contracts, not emotions
Ukraine is now concentrating on strengthening its air defense and is based on contracts through strong agreements with countries of the world, not through emotions, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a meeting with Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen on Wednesday.
As reported by a correspondent of Interfax-Ukraine, when asked by journalists whether he is concerned about the possibility of support for Ukraine from European countries in connection with Elon Musk's attempts to get involved in the domestic politics of European countries and support forces that may be critical of Ukraine, Zelenskyy answered: "We really have a lot of financial support, we are talking about tens of billions of euros in support of both our budget and our army. I am concentrating, excuse me, on other concerns that are, unfortunately, still being heard in the Ukrainian sky, and therefore we are concentrating on strengthening our air defense. We are not based on emotions, but on contracts through our strong agreements with countries of the world," he said.
The president said today there are 27 bilateral security agreements with partners, and for 2025 there are already "specific amounts for what this or that percentage goes to."
"I am based on trust and on agreements with these countries," Zelenskyy said.
