Sybiha informs Iceland's new FM about Ukraine's defense and energy needs
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha has held the first telephone conversation with the new Foreign Minister of Iceland, Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir.
“I had a warm first call with Iceland’s new Foreign Minister Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttirю Informed about the battlefield situation and Russia’s daily air terror, as well as Ukraine’s priority defense and energy needs. Grateful to Iceland and all of its people for sincerely supporting Ukraine,” Sybiha said on X.
On December 21, Icelandic President Halla Tómasdótti presented a new government headed by Social Democrat Kristrún Frostadóttir.
