One dead, 13 injured in Kryvy Rih – PGO
As a result of Russia's ballistic missile attack on a four-story residential building on Tuesday afternoon, one person was killed and 13 others were injured, including a child; an investigation has been launched, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine said.
"According to the investigation, on December 24, 2024, the Russian military launched a missile attack on the city of Kryvy Rih. One person is currently known to have died, 13 people were injured, including a 16-year-old girl. A residential building, shops, and cars were damaged," the department said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
Information about the victims and destruction is being clarified. It is noted that people are likely to remain under the rubble of the building. Emergency services are working at the scene.
Under the procedural guidance of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pretrial investigation has been launched in a criminal proceeding on the fact of a war crime that resulted in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Earlier, it was reported that one person was killed and 11 were injured.
