Russian attack injures 6, including 2 children, in Zhytomyr region – official

Several hits or falling fragments of cruise missiles and kamikaze drones were recorded in the Zhytomyr region at night, civilian infrastructure was damaged, six people were injured, including two children, Regional Administration head Vitaliy Bunechko said.

"The Zhytomyr region has been under enemy air attacks for the second day in a row. According to preliminary information, several hits or falling fragments of cruise missiles and kamikaze drones were recorded in the region this night," he said in Telegram.

According to Bunechko, residential buildings, civilian private enterprises, and a store were damaged as a result of the attack.

"Currently, six people are known to have been injured, including two children. One child and one adult are hospitalized and receiving assistance in medical institutions in the region," he wrote.
