Ukrainian Defense Forces destroy 51 out of 81 drones used by enemy, 30 UAVs lost

On the night of December 18, 2024 (from 19:00 on December 17), the enemy attacked the 81st shock UAV of the Shahed type and other types of drones from the districts of Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol (RF), the AFU Air Forces reported on Telegram.

"As of 09:00, the downing of 51 Shahed-type attack UAVs and other types of drones in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions has been confirmed," the message says.

Due to the active opposition of the Defense Forces, 30 enemy simulator drones did not achieve their goals (they were lost locationally), without negative consequences.

The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also informed that no hits have been recorded, information about damage or casualties has not been received.
